Chairman of the Board Announces Schedule and Format for Public Testimony on MCAS El Toro Community Reuse Olan and EIR

Santa Ana, CA - Chairman Roger R. Stanton has established the following schedule and format for public testimony at the Board of Supervisors/Local Redevelopment Authority Special Meeting on the MCAS El Toro Community Reuse Plan and Environmental Impact Report. The special meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. on December 10, at the Orange County Hall of Administration, Board Hearing Room, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana.

1:00 pm - 1:30 pm Commencement of special meeting and staff presentation.
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm Public comment period for elected officials. Comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker and will be heard in the order in which speaker request forms are received.
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm Public comment period for members of recognized organizations who are expressing opposition to the Community Reuse Plan.
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm Public comment period for members of recognized organizations who are expressing support for the Community Reuse Plan.
4:30 pm - 4:45 pm Break
4:45 pm Comment period for the general public. Comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker and will be heard in the order in which speaker request forms are received.

The Chairman intends to clear the hearing room following the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday morning. Seating for the special meeting will not be available until the conclusion (approximately noon) of the regular meeting.
