OC’s Prop 10 Commission Meets Monday
(Santa Ana) – Orange County’s Proposition 10 Children and Families First Commission will meet at 9 a.m., October 4 in the Planning Commission meeting room of the County Hall of Administration building, Santa Ana Blvd. and Broadway in Santa Ana.
In addition to routine matters, the Commission will conduct a public hearing on approving the annual audit report due to the State Commission by October 15, according to Commission Chairman Chuck Smith, who is also Chairman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
“The difficult selection of winning programs was based on demonstrated leadership, innovation, collaboration, creativity, resourcefulness and effectiveness, as well as the potential for successful elements of the program to be used as a model for other counties,” said Steven C. Szalay, CSAC Executive Director. “These award winners are the evidence that counties are using creative means to operate in an efficient, cost-effective manner.”
Challenge Award winners will be featured in a December 1 workshop at CSAC’s annual meeting in Monterey County.
