Certified MSI Application Taker Now Available at County Community Service Center in Westminster
(Santa Ana) The County Community Service Center (CCSC) in Westminster recently added a Certified MSI Application Taker (CMAT) who will be available twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The Medical Services for Indigents Program covers necessary medical services for Orange County residents 21 through 64 years of age who have no other resource for medical care.
To be eligible for MSI benefits, you must be a legal resident of Orange County between the ages of 21 through 64; you must have a current medical need and you must be unable to pay for the medical care you need. Potential applicants also must make an appointment and be prepared to give information about identity, income, resources, residency and alien status.
“I am pleased to announce that a Certified MSI Application Taker will now be joining the many County and community groups who hold office hours at the County Community Service Center,” said Supervisor Janet Nguyen, Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. “This addition further solidifies the well-rounded services offered to County residents by the CCSC.”
