Supervisor Janet Nguyen and Orange County Housing Authority Host Affordable Housing Town Hall
(Santa Ana) Supervisor Janet Nguyen, Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, and the Orange County Housing Authority will be hosting an Affordable Housing Town Hall on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Viet Herald Community Center in Westminster.
This Town Hall will include comprehensive presentations from the Orange County Housing Authority specifying the dynamics behind Section 8 housing for the County, the waiting list that is involved and the County’s housing policy. The Orange County Housing Authority will also provide additional information regarding city Housing Authorities and OC Community Services will include resources from the County’s Office on Aging.
“This Town Hall will provide residents with the information they need to successfully navigate their way through the process of obtaining affordable housing,” said Supervisor Janet Nguyen, Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
This event will be held from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Viet Herald Community Center. There will be no sign-ups for the Orange County Housing Authority waiting list as this list is still closed at this time. Vietnamese and Spanish translations will be available.
