These diverse departments provide a range of essential services to residents of Orange County and many who visit our community:
Child Support Services (CSS) provides professional cost-effective services to parents or caretakers of minor children. CSS offers Solutions for Parents including the establishment and enforcement of child support orders through exclusive enforcement tools, establishment of legal paternity through genetic testing, complete account maintenance, and exceptional customer service every step of the way.
The Health Care Agency’s core services range from promoting community health, and assuring access to health care services, to promoting and ensuring a healthful environment. The Agency is very active in building and maintaining partnerships to ensure the highest quality of life standards are available to Orange County residents.
OC Dana Point Harbor has both landside and waterside components that provide services, opportunities, and enjoyment to thousands of visitors every year. There are two marinas with approximately 2,400 boat slips and a variety of recreational, sporting, and commercial boating amenities. Numerous programs offered in Dana Point Harbor educate participants on the ocean, habitat, and boating.
The Office of the Public Defender provides each client with quality representation, thereby protecting Constitutional rights and liberties. In addition to defendants in criminal cases, counsel is appointed to represent children in Juvenile Court, parents in dependency cases and individuals involved in mental health cases.
