County to Hold Event to Discuss Relocation of Silverado Library
OC Parks and OC Public Libraries invite the public to learn more about the relocation of the Silverado Branch Library to the former Silverado Elementary School site.
The public meeting and workshop will take place Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the former school site, at 7531 Santiago Canyon Rd., Silverado, Calif.
The meeting will include an estimated construction schedule for the library and multi-purpose room. The process for developing an overall general plan will also be presented. The public will be invited to provide input on desired uses for the multi-purpose room and site.
Once the work is complete on the building, OC Public Libraries plan to relocate an existing library on Silverado Canyon Road to the site.
Orange Unified School District sold the site to the County of Orange in 2013.
