A Welcome Message From Lisa A. Bartlett

Dear Friends,

Welcome to my home page. I am honored and privileged to represent the Fabulous Fifth District of Orange County, the sixth largest County in the United States of America.

This page is designed to provide you with a convenient means to learn about the current issues I am working on, as well as an opportunity to contact me directly with any questions or comments you may have.

The Fifth District encompasses the South County Cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, the community of Shady Canyon in the City of Irvine, as well as the unincorporated communities of Coto de Caza, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, Rancho Mission Viejo, and Wagon Wheel.

Being home to well over 600,000 residents, the Fifth District is also the second largest Orange County District in total area – covering 276 square miles. Being so large, the Fifth District has a fascinating and diverse make up of communities. In addition to being abundantly rich in natural history, it is home to 28 miles of scenic coastline, over 35 square miles of County Parks, and over 46 square miles of National Forest.

As I join a new Board of Supervisors that will lead the County in the coming years, it is important to reflect on County’s mission and values. I am enthusiastic to begin this journey and look forward to working with my colleagues on the Board of Supervisors to continue making Orange County an efficient, fiscally responsible, and safe place to live, work, and travel.

In addition to preserving and protecting the quality of life we enjoy as residents of this great county, my priorities include working to expedite implementation of transportation projects to relieve traffic congestion, making sure your tax dollars are spent wisely, and being responsive to constituent concerns. As always, my door is open for you.

I look forward to serving as your Fifth District Supervisor!

Lisa A. Bartlett
Vice Chair
Orange County Supervisor, 5th District
