Orange County Crime Victims’ Memorial Site Unveiling and Inaugural Candlelight Vigil
The Orange County Board of Supervisors and OC Parks invite you to a tribute to all crime victims on Wednesday, April 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mason Regional Park. The event will commemorate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and kick off a contest to design a victims’ memorial.
5 p.m. Community booths
6 p.m. Program begins, Victims’ Memorial design competition announcement
7 p.m. Candlelight vigil around the lake
Participants include: Orange County Crime Stoppers, Crime Survivors, Inc., RADD, MADD, Human Options, Casa de la Familia, Crime Victims United of California, Women’s Transitional Living Center, GET SAFE, Community Service Programs, Justice for Homicide Victims, Parents of Murdered Children and Marsy’s Law for All.
