OC Public Libraries Welcomes Money Expert and Bestselling Author, Tori Dunlap

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (May 31, 2024) – OC Public Libraries is proud to present Financial Literacy with Tori Dunlap.  

Tori Dunlap is an internationally recognized money and career expert, and podcast host. She is the founder and CEO of “Her First $100K” a financial education company aimed at supporting young women. Her book, Financial Feminist, was an instant New York Times bestseller and she has more than two million followers on social media. Through her social media platforms, book, and speaking engagements Tori Dunlap strives to make financial education accessible to everyone. Her First $100K’s mission is to enable curiosity, foster empathy, act boldly, and demand accessibility for marginalized communities.

OC Public Libraries is taking the lead in promoting financial literacy within the community, emphasizing the education of young people as part of our commitment to support all types of literacy. Understanding personal financial management, budgeting, and investing provides the essential foundation for making informed decisions. When individuals are financially literate, they are less vulnerable to financial fraud and better equipped to achieve their life goals, whether it’s saving for education, planning for retirement, or running a business.
