Time: 1100 hours
The County/OA EOC (Operational Area Emergency Operations Center) activated on September 11, 2026 at 11 hours to a Low Level, staffed by the OC Sherriff’s Department (OCSD) Emergency Management Division personnel. The County/OA EOC hours will be Monday through Friday from 0800-1600 hours, going to a Duty Officer overnight and on weekends. The activation is required under Cal. Code Regs. Tit. 19, § 2409 as two or more cities have proclaimed a local emergency related to coastal weather impacts, including storm‑driven waves and high tides. The following cities have currently proclaimed local emergencies: Dana Point and Laguna Beach.
